About Me
Hello, I’m Beth.
I’m the person behind Clear Path Bookkeeping & Advisory. I help business owners keep their books organized, understand their numbers and feel comfortable asking questions.
With more than 20 years of bookkeeping, accounting and financial management experience, I bring a practical approach and a willingness to work through the details.
Whether you’re starting out, catching up or managing several companies, we’ll begin with where you are and what you need.
Experience that goes beyond the day-to-day.
I’ve worked as a bookkeeper, controller and CFO, supporting independent businesses, growing teams and groups of related companies. That experience helps me connect the everyday bookkeeping with the decisions owners need to make.
My work has included full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, budgets, cash-flow forecasts, intercompany accounts and year-end preparation. I also improve accounting systems and write procedures that make the work easier to manage and hand over.
I hold a three-year Business Administration diploma in Accounting from Algonquin College. My industry experience includes professional services, engineering, construction, landscaping, real estate, technology and SaaS companies, as well as nonprofits, charities and community organizations.

I’ve worked with a wide range of accounting software, including industry-specific systems, along with payroll, payment, project management and reporting tools. I understand how these systems fit together and how information needs to flow into the books.
I use technology to reduce repetitive work, improve accuracy and make financial information more useful. I also develop practical procedures and accounting manuals so day-to-day tasks are clear and consistent.

Community matters to me.
Alongside my client work, I volunteer as Treasurer of my local community association. I understand how much happens behind the scenes to keep programs, events and community spaces running.
With ten years of experience working with nonprofit funders, I also understand the importance of clear budgets, grant tracking and reliable reporting. It’s work that brings together two things I care about: well-managed finances and people doing something worthwhile.
