Fair pricing starts with understanding your business.
No two sets of books require exactly the same work. Transaction volume matters, but so do payroll, reconciliations, reporting needs and the condition of your records.
A standard monthly package may include services you don’t need—or leave out work you assumed was covered.
That’s why I start with a conversation about your business.
Hourly or monthly—the choice is yours.
We’ll discuss the work involved and agree on the scope and billing arrangement before getting started.
Experience makes a difference.
A lower hourly rate doesn’t always mean a lower total cost. The time required depends on the work and the person doing it—and accuracy, thoroughness and follow-through matter just as much as speed.
For example, three hours at $25 costs $75, while one hour at $50 costs $50. It’s a simple illustration of why the hourly rate alone doesn’t tell the whole story.
I bring more than 20 years of bookkeeping, accounting and financial management experience to the work, from everyday transactions to complex reconciliations and month-end reporting.
Your books stay personal.
At Clear Path, you work directly with me, here in Canada. Your bookkeeping is not passed to an offshore processing team.
I get to know your business, investigate discrepancies and explain anything that needs your attention. You know who is doing the work and who to contact when you have a question.
